Titswa Modise is the founder of Modise Attorneys and currently holding the position of Managing Director.
Before establishing Modise Attorneys, Titswa was a legal manager at Cell C, the mobile network company. Key primary deliverables entrusted to the portfolio was drafting and vetting commercial agreement for various departments, including amongst others, procurement, marketing, administration, real estate, and service management. Secondary deliverables were managing litigation as well as intellectual property.
Before joining Cell C, Titswa was a global legal advisor at South African Tourism (SAT). Portfolio responsibilities included drafting and reviewing of commercial contracts, management of litigation and Intellectual property. The area of responsibility for the services was to all Business units at the head office and 10 international offices in (USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, East Asia & Australia). In addition, Titswa was also a Deputy Information Officer a position to which he was appointed in compliance with The Promotion of Access to Information Act.
Before joining SAT Titswa was a practising attorney at Van Hulsteyns Attorneys, practising in the area of Commercial, Litigation and Debt Collecting. Whilst at Van Hulsteyns Attorneys, Titswa drafted agreements including, but not limited to, Member, Shareholders, Joint Venture, IT agreements. He dealt with Litigation in both the Magistrates Court and the High Court. Titswa also dealt with debt collection and collecting for banks.
Titswa started his article at Tim Trollip & Associates (Commercial law firm) & completed his article with M. B. Mohlahledi & Associates (General Practice Firm).
Education
Titswa hold a B.Proc from the University of North West and an LLB Degree from Wits University.
